They all echoed a similar tone: that drugs and surgery are not an acceptable identity or scope for the chiropractic profession. Of particular concern however was the admission by one rather vocal group that the Chiropractic Primary Care Physician terminology is acceptable.

MCQI remains firm that neither drugs or surgery, or the designation of primary care physician is appropriate for the chiropractic profession. The training in this regard is “woefully inadequate” as Ken Spresser, D.C. testified in front of the the Colorado Office of Legislative Services recently.
